Afternoon activities
From Monday to Thursday, the Primary
department has activities from 14:00 to 16:00 hours, and the Secondary
department from 15:00 - 16:00hours.
Compulsory Inter-House Afternoon
Activities
Primary: For the Primary department, these are
held on Thursday afternoons from 14:00 to 16:00hrs.
Secondary: For the Secondary department, these are
held Wednesday from 14:45 to 16:00hrs.
We regard extra-curricular activities
as an important part of the School's educational structure and encourage
pupils to attend whenever possible. A wide range of activities is
offered which may vary from term to term but the following are normally
included:
Swimming, Football, Badminton, Squash, Netball,
Volleyball, Cricket,
Tennis, Athletics, Basketball, Team games, Table games, Karate, Hockey
a wide variety of musical activities including Junior and Senior Band
and
singing for pleasure, Dance and Drama, Art and Craft, Sewing,
Conservation Clubs, French-in-Action, a School Magazine, Lechwe
Amateur Swimming Club (affiliated to the Zambia Amateur Swimming Union).
All activities are run and supervised
by qualified staff.
