Procedure for Study Permit

• Non-Zambian children (seven years and above) of parents who are Employment Permit or

        Entry Permit holders, need to apply for study permits.

• Only Zambians / Zambian Residents are exempt and should submit photocopies of resident

     status documents.

•  Employment / Entry Permit holders should complete application forms in duplicate and

        include the following information for each applicant:

        Ø      2 certified photographs of student

Ø      Copy of father’s Entry Permit / Employment Permit

Ø      Copy of student’s passport or relevant page of parent’s passport

Ø      Accompanying letter from the school

Ø      X-ray certificate that student is free of TB

Ø      Original current Study Permit (if applicable)

Ø      Form B duly completed (if applying for the first time)

Ø      Application for Variation Form F12 duly completed (for existing Study Permit holders)

Ø      Copy of Certificate of Registration for Lechwe School

Ø      Copy of Exemption Certificate for Lechwe School

Ø      The required remittance fee (bank certified cheque).  Please enquire from the school

        re: the fee

Ø      Form 1 duly completed

Ø      Letter of Application (from Lechwe School)

If your child does not possess a Study Permit, please collect the necessary forms from Mrs Kapambwe at the Front Office.  The forms should then be submitted to the Immigration Department, Lusaka, for processing.
