SECONDARY DEPARTMENT

The secondary department functions by the subject departments to which every secondary teacher is affiliated. The subject departments and their head are:
Vocational Studies
The Vocational Studies department is headed by Mrs. Bridget Mutasa. The subjects that are affiliated to this department are Art and Design and Design and Technology.
Mrs. Mutasa is the Art and Design teacher. Mr. Tonderai Mutasa and Mrs. Christine Watson are the Design and Technology teachers.

Modern Languages
Mrs. Sternslow teaches English Literature and English Language, Ms. Settele teaches French, Mrs. Mushinge and Mr. Matanda teach French, Mrs. Chileshe English teaches Language and French and Mr. Ratnanayagam teaches English Language.
All the subjects are offered from Form 1 to Form 6.
Sciences
The Science department is headed by Mr. Pulimootil George. The subjects that are affiliated to this department are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and General Science.
Mr. George teaches Physics, Mr. Ndashye teaches Chemistry and General Science, Mrs. Abrahams teaches Biology, Chemistry and General Science and Mrs. Fernando teaches Biology. Mr. Francis Mhango is the Laboratory Technician.
Biology, Chemistry and Physics are offered from Form 3 to Form 6 whereas General Science is offered to Form 1 and Form 2.
Physical Education (P.E)
The Physical Education department is headed by Mr. Niven Whitaker. Although Physical Education is the only subject taught in this department, the school's extra-curricular programme is planned and administered by this department.
Mr. Whitaker and Mrs. Kaliba are the P.E teachers.
P.E is offered from Form 1 to Form 6.
Humanities
The Humanities department is headed by Mr. Vitalis Musonda. The subjects that are affiliated to this department are Geography, History, Travel and Tourism, Business Studies and Accounting.

Mr. Musonda teaches Geography, Mr. Whitaker Travel and Tourism, Mr. Mc Gowan and Mr. Matanda teach History and Mr. Kalumiana teaches Business Studies.

History and Geography are taught from Form 1 to Form 6. Business Studies and Travel and Tourism are taught from Form 3 to Form 6.
Mathematics & Computers
The Mathematics & Computers department is headed by Mr. Tonderai Mutasa. The subjects that are affiliated to this department are Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Computer Studies and Information Technology.
Mr. Chibwe teaches Computer Studies and Information Technology, Mr. Mutasa teaches Information Technology, Mrs. Whitaker and Mrs. Watson teach Information Technology, Mr. Kumwenda and Mr. Milasa.
Computing and Mathematics are offered from Form 1 to Form 6, Additional Mathematics is selectively offered to Form 3, Form 4 and Form 5 students and Information Technology is offered from Form 1 to Form 5.
Mr. Martin C. Nkonde is Technical Support for Computer Sciences. He is responsible for the maintenance of Computers and other electronic devices, Network Support and Server Administration, Website, and many other Technological advances within the School.
Music
The Music department is headed by Mr. David Ratnanayagam. Music is the only subject taught but the department is responsible for all the school productions.
Mr. Ratnanayagam and Mr. Banda are the two Music teachers.
Music is offered from Form 1 to Form 6.
