Welcome to Lechwe School. Lechwe School is a co-educational private school based in Kitwe.

The school offers education of an international standard from Nursery to 'A' Level at affordable fees. The primary syllabus is based on the British National Curriculum, whilst the Secondary Department follows the Cambridge syllabus leading to the award of the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Advanced (A) level.

Lechwe aims to give young people a clear, balanced outlook on life, at the same time equipping them with the knowledge and self-confidence which enable them to cope with a constantly changing world. Lechwe aims to keep abreast of the international educational environment in order to ensure that our students are able to adapt and maintain their standards anywhere in the world, at both primary and secondary levels.

Lechwe School, while placing great value upon academic achievement, recognises and promotes the development of other strengths and talents. Sport is encouraged and Lechwe has produced many fine sportsmen and women, some of whom have represented Zambia at an international level. The Arts are given similar encouragement and the development of music and drama within the School forms part of the on-going expansion programme presently in effect at Lechwe.
